About

I live in The Netherlands and work as an independent consultant with a broad experience on energy and climate change policy, working on assignments for private and public sector organisations, the Dutch government, the Bulgarian government and the European Commission.

Recently I have been working for Rijkswaterstaat (Dutch authority for highways, waterways and water safety) and the Port of Rotterdam to reduce the CO2 impact of their infrastructure projects. My work for the CO2 Performance Ladder has helped to make this a successful CO2 management and procurement tool.

I enjoy working as an interface between government and business, making use of my technical background, economical insight, ability to analyze complex issues and knowledge of sustainability and climate change policies.

Cooperation

Working as an independent does not mean working alone. I enjoy working in teams, in close cooperation with clients and partners, often in association with SQ Consult, an international consultancy on energy and climate change.
